Dual-SIM Samsung Galaxy S4 appears in video leak

Yesterday we saw a Chinese forum post images claiming to show the Samsung Galaxy S4 and now the same site has uploaded a video apparently revealing the Korean firm's new flagship handset.

52Samsung now claims its latest video shows the Galaxy S4 in all its glory, which disappointingly seems to be very similar to the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2.

The rear of the handset is almost identical to the Note 2, with the supposed Galaxy S4 missing the S-Pen slot in the bottom corner and the single LED flash relocated to under the camera.

As the handset is rotated it appears to be pretty chunky, making us think that this is possibly a cheap Chinese knockoff instead of the real deal.

Cheap Chinese knockoff?

Of course the extra depth could be a by-product of the dual-SIM setup within the handset, but we'd be surprised if Samsung were unable to keep the dimensions down.

The bezel either side of the screen appears to be thinner than on the current crop of Galaxy S devices, and the handset in question appears to be running Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean with Samsung's own TouchWiz interface layered on top.

This handset doesn't tally up with the official teaser image posted by Samsung though, with the device appearing in the Korean firm's photo lacking sensors, a front facing camera and a ear piece above the screen - all of which are present in the video.

We sort of hope Samsung will do something a bit different looks-wise with the Galaxy S4 and we'll find out on Thursday if it has when the Korean firm takes the stage in New York to uncover its next flagship smartphone.
